The prefecture

This colonial house, built in 1750, is presented by a beautiful portal with a small patio where it stands a fountain, and above, finely sculpted wooden balconies are suspended. It is possible to see the jail where Maria Parado de Bellido, one of the Peruvian independence heroins, was detained and then executed.
